When I am wearing my foundation, I don't photograph good. always get a white hue over my face. is the shade too dark for my skin tone?

If your foundation has any spf in it, it will create 'quote face' in pictures.

If your foundation has SPF in then that tends to happen, try a foundation without SPF. Also if you use powder to set your foundation make sure it's not a HD one and if it is use it with a damp sponge or brush as this will reduce it

I'm a foundation amateur.. don't know much about it.. but I know it doesn't have spf.. I use maybelline dream matte mousse these days.

It's because your foundation has sunscreen in it, or you're using a white HD powder. A white cast appears with the flash of a camera. If there's no flash and you still have a white cast, then you're wearing too much white HD powder.
