Olive oil has been used for years and years. The Egyptians began using it on their skins and it is known for being an outstanding moisturizer as well as provider of antioxidants. Against popular belief, olive oil absolutely does not clog pores. Apply when skin is damp directly after showering. And then blot of excess after massaging in/letting it absorb.
I have extremely dry skin in the winter. I swear I have tried almost everything - drug store and high end. The absolute BEST products for dry skin are aquaphor (found in drugstores) and Vichy's moisturizing cream. It has completely changed my skin from dry to normal. And I will never switch to anything else, ever!
