What's next? Size 6 campaign? I think that this is wrong due to people's natural size, some people burn calories faster then others and some don't burn calories as fast. People have different body metabolisms you have to acknowledge that.

The only people that jump on the bandwagon with things like that are overweight people. Yet they would cry if they saw it the other way round. Imagine an anti size 20 campaign by skinny people? There would be uproar. We should be promoting healthy eating and exercise and leave it at that.

I think some people on here should stop being so judgmental don't rant about the size 0 campaign if you think its okay to put larger people down calling them fat and gross you don't see me calling you a bag of bones and disgusting do you, no wonder so many girls and even woman don't like there body embrace what you have I'm happy being a size 14 and I'm glad people are happy being a size 0 so stop being critical against each other.

I'm officially offended. Are people who are healthy and skinnt not supposed to have clothes to fit into?!

That fat and gross comment was totally rude and disgraceful

I loved reading the opinions. It seems we can all agree that both spectrums are beautiful. I think all it takes is one person to start a movement & it should be about health for your size - whatever it may be.

I hate that when a bigger woman is shown wearing just a bra and panties, people praise her for being so brave. But when a skinny woman does the same, she's labeled a whore. I'm 5'3 and 160 and I'm not ashamed to be fat. All women and built differently, and we need to support each other. Banning size 0 is ridiculous!

Saying anti size zero is like anti size 24, anti red hair, anti long fingernails. People should stop being so jealous and should focus on making themselves what they want, not telling others what they can't be. don't be anti war, be pro peace, you know?

I'm a size 12, working on losing a bit of weight and I totally disagree with the anti size zero thing. I think anti eating disorder is a much better approach. I used to be extremely underweight and it isn't something I enjoyed for sure but it also isn't something I could control, being against a size is wrong...and what happens to the size itself if zero gets banned? what will they call it then? -1? Much worse than 0.

As someone who struggles with bad genetics for weight, I hate the pressure I've felt all my life, even as a little girl, to be super thin. It's not possible for me to be that thin and be healthy. But a good friend of mine is very thin and can't gain weight. The focus needs to be on health and accepting yourself. (Someone mentioned anti-eating disorder, which I agree with) It's sad that pretty much every woman I know is unhappy with their body image, one way or the other.

Stupid I'm a zero and I don't stick my fingers down my throat I eat healthy and work out just because someone else is a little over weight they shouldn't hate us for being our natural size

As a plus sized female who has plus sized friends and has worked in a plus sized stores, I find this whole "anti skinny" thing almost unreal. It is rare that I ever hear a curvy or plus size women complain about others being healthy or skinny. If anything they simply wish to be like them. I can say for myself I am not an anti skinny person and have MANY thin or skinny friends. I find that its the heart of a person that matters most. I'm sorry you had to hear such mean and hateful words, but I have also seen on Facebook pictures of plus size women being mocked, torn down, and even told to kill themselves. Men and women call us "disgusting, gross, animals ect." I am against ANYONE being hateful. I do realize being healthy is a very important thing and strive to one day be in a more healthy state. but everyone has their "unhealthy" ways about them, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. This world needs more love and less hate.

Skinny women't aren't better than curvy/big women. Curvy/big women aren't better than skinny women. All skinny women aren't anorexic/bulimic. All curvy/big women aren't so due to eating habits or laziness. Your body is your body and no one has the right to tell you whether it is ugly or pretty and you don't have the right to decide the same for other's bodies. You decide that. You are responsible for you. So yes, this Anti-size 0 campaign was started with "good intentions" but the concept is bigoted. I don't think people should take it seriously. Though some equality for all sizes and shapes would be nice.

Honestly I've been seeing this all over the Internet and it is awful. I'm small, 5'1 and yes a size zero. But I'm in proportion to my height, within healthy weight range, with a good BMI. I understand that eating disorders are ramapant and wrong but not everyone who is thin is suffering from an eating disorder. I particularly hate the "real men like curves, bones are for dogs." That is horrible. Body shaming one type to build up another is not going to resolve the problem. To be honest I wish I was curvier- I wish I had hips that weren't so narrow but that's not the way I'm built. I have come to accept that but I am tired of people talking like this when its just a person's body type. I don't judge people off their bodies and they shouldn't judge me off mine. As for the banning size 0 thing- that's my size and it is a number, just like 13, 4, and 22. Who cares what the number is as long as the person is healthy.

I am naturally skinny and so are most of my friends. I am a size 0 but I do eat food. I have gotten plenty of hate due to my skinniness

Its probably started by someone who is very insecure and jealous and only people like that will agree with it. it will never happen though, size 0 people are redily available. I'm 18, I eat a ton and I'm healthy and there's nothing wrong with that.

I think their intention was more to help love themselves but I definitely feel the same way when us skinny girls get some hate. I think the idea was to teach girls to love yourself no matter your size, but instead it comes across as being skinny as bad. I guess all we can do is ignore it and love ourselves.

I would say let's start a size 12 campaign but I wouldn't feel right making someone feel bad about their size I'm a zero and sick of ppl trying to "feed me" like I never eat and do it on purpose I would like to be a little curvier but I don't hate on ppl who look the way I want to. Besides I could never be that immature it's disgusting.

I'm with ya sister! There are people who can't help being thin! I'm a 1-2, but a couple years ago I wore a 00! It would not be fair to ban 0 at all!

Alyssa B.
She means people shouldn't go on crazy diets to get thin not people shouldn't be thin.
Mar 14, 2013
Tiffany D.
That's not the way it sounds like she's specifically talking about extreme dieting no size zeros means anyone who is that size and a lot of ppl are naturally and if that's what she meant then she needs to learn how to get her point across and express herself better.

That is such bullshit. I swim in a size double zeeo and they are protestinf zeros? Some of us can't help it. It's really not nice to judge skinny girls just because "bigger" girls are seld.concious. People really need to watch the everybody is beautiful thing and realize if that does include "curvy" overweiggtness it also includes stixk thin.

I am so completely against this anti 0 campaign! This has really started a fire in me! The issue is not the size zero. The issue is what it represents. Size 0 means perfection, but only to these girls who are not that size. This "anti size 0" things should be against the PRESSURE to be unnaturally skinny. Not the size itself including those who have no choice but to wear what fits them. If a 00 fits you and youre healthy, great. If a size 14 fits you and you're healthy, equally great. I don't mean to offend anyone by what I'm going to say. It's my personal opinion/assumption. I'm sure most of the people supporting anti-size 0 are the ones who are big and NOT healthy. I'm not including the curvy girls who are healthy. Obesity is a growing trend. That CAN be helped. That's not your natural size, or your natural I-can't-help-it weight. That's a lifestyle Choice. I think those people make up the majority of these supporters. Mainly because they make up the majority of our society. Overweight is completely different than natural curvy bodies. You know the difference if you're unhealthy or not. If you don't, ask your doctor. But the ones who hate size zeros are the ones who CAN get there (or close to) but they're unhealthy, and choose to do nothing about it, and just hate it. I have much more I could say, but I won't waste the space. Nobody will probably read this anyway, I'm just venting!
