I wash my brushes every months, but I was curious as to often one should buy new ones?

If the brushes are good and you take good care of them, wash them regularly, etc. they should last a lifetime (:

I have more than enough brushes yet I found myself always buying new ones just because. But definitely wash your brushes frequently & when you do, make sure water doesn't get in the metal part because that can cause it to loosen & fall apart.
