Any one else having this problem? I have fairly dry flaky skin, have to exfoliate regularly, and apply two coats of moisturizer every morning.
Would it be best to use a mouse or a liquid foundation? And what's the best application method? Sponge or foundation brush?
Help needed :)

Try loreal true match and use your fingers. I have dry skin too and this never makes my skin dry :) almost like a third layer of moisture with medium coverage. About $12 at drug store.

It's a liquid.

I got bad dry skin and I use Mac studio fix fluid. Doesn't try my skin out either but I also use bare minerals foam cleanser and sephora face lotion for extra dry skin before my foundation so I don't know if the face care before hand is helping my Mac stuff not dry my skin out or not.

Have you tried Laura Mercier Moisture Supreme Foundation? It's super hydrating and has a great finish. I recommend the Buffing Brush from Real Tecniques, it applies foundation like a dream. Hope it helps :) xo

Maybe you should switch moisturizers...but I would go with a liquid...however I recently switched from using MAC liquid foundation to Urban Decay Naked Skin (its sort of like a BB Cream) but provides good coverage as well because you can build it up without getting caked up or dry...and I Love this stuff...it feels great and acts like another moisturizer as well...you don't even feel like your wearing make up and it looks great..

Liquid foundation, tinted moisturizer or even a bb cream! You may need to drink more water and get a new cleanser! Probably apply with your fingers!

I have a skin condition that causes my skin to dry out no matter what (I have medication but it isn't great), and I just started using the Revlon whipped foundation. It's kinda half way between liquid and mousse, and it is amazing! My skin isn't flaky at all! I highly recommend it. :)
