Hey ladies!! So I just got myself a set of Sigma brushes and absolutely love them. I want to make sure I am taking proper care of them since they were so expensive. I just rinse them off with a little warm water after I'm done using them but I am curious how all of you take care of yours. Share your secrets! :)

I use a makeup brush cleaner just to make sure I get all the makeup build up off of them, I'm sure warm water it perfect tho! :)

I have one from Clinique that works really well. And I have a Japonesque cleaner as well. They both work great.

I actually use J&J baby shampoo to wash my brushes, it's cheap and non-irritating. In between washes, for a quick clean I use Alba make-up remover wipes or Sephora's anti-bacterial brush spray.

Also - after washing, reshape and lay flat to dry on a couple of paper towels overnight!

Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, spray on Kleenex then rub brush in circles. Used to work at a professional spa this is how all estheticians did it

I was watching a show on tv, it's this doctor show who give tips on health and one thing they mentioned is that soaking make up brushes in white vinegar kills germs

I have Mary Kay and Bare Minerals brush cleaners - Bare Minerals being much better and actually cleaning the brushes. I also use my son's delicate shampoo Bambino to clean them once in a while.

I wash mine with organic shampoo. I dry them upside down in a shoe box that I poked holes in to prevent water getting into the ferrel. For any shabby disheveled brushes I use brush guards to put them back into their original shape. They are from www.brushguard.net.

I use Sephora's Eye Makeup Remover - I soak my brushes in a glass of that for about 10 minutes, then wash them with Dr. Bronner's All-One castile soap - that is the cleanest I have ever gotten my brushes, and they retain their shape and stay soft too!
