Okay so how do I know if I'm cool tones or warm tones. Thats what W and C stand for right? tell me if I'm wrong
In Mac I'm an NC40 but with l'oreal I have been using w6. Lol. Which am I?

Think of NC as "not cool." If you have warm undertones you would use NC if you have cool undertones you would use NW.
