It doesn't hurt when you get it done but it's sore for a while after as it's easy to catch it on things. make sure you keep cleaning it twice a day as it does take a while to heal! Xx

I have it for 2 years now and it never hurt me, and it's still cool in my opinion. Go for it:*

The little flappy bit in the middle of your ear is the tragus!

Apparently, it hurts a lot because it's cartilage and there's a pop noise
That's what I've heard anyways :)

Mine didn't hurt at all! I love it. :) of course it depends on your pain tolerance. But it's not that bad!

I have both of mine, done on the same day. It's the only piercing I kept because it's the most comfortable one I have. But I think it hurt lol. And I have a high pain tolerance. It wasn't anything horrible, the same pinch and burn that happens with any piercing, just a lot more intense. It is a pretty thick area to get a needle through. I don't regret it though. Mine are very comfortable and have never given me any problems. They healed beautifully and are the only piercing I kept. I don't even have my lobes pierced anymore.
Although after I would suggest using cushiony headphones/earbuds because anything that isn't padded can be kind of irritating to the piercing after a while. I've been using a pair of Apple's earbuds I found lately and they've started to irritate my piercings so I wouldn't recommend anything that isn't padded or soft.

I didn't think it hurt at all, and it felt like it was hollow (sounded that way too!)

Mine hurt like crazy, but I was also an idiot and got both ears done at the same time. I have a pretty low pain tolerance, though. I think the tragus piercings are gorgeous, so a little pain is worth it! Just be sure to clean, clean, CLEAN it right or it will get infected and reject.

I am a trained piercer. Everyone's pain tolerance is different but it won't be something totally unbearable. Keep it clean and you should have no problems. If you need to take Ibuprofen for a day or two after for swelling/pain that's fine too. Good luck!
