Ok so I'm 20 years old. Never did the foundation or blush thing. I'm thinking aabout starting but I'm not sure where to start. Like what are a few things I should have to properly apply makeup and look natural.

For a natural look, I'd suggest starting out with a good BB cream. I use one by cover girl. It's like your one step moisturizer/sunscreen/base/foundation. It's very light and feels like you're not even wearing it! Next, to give your self a nice glow, get a nice bronzer and blush. I use a very light bronzer from Clinique and a blush from DHC. You'll really have to experiment to just find the look you like. I like bronzer lightly applied across my T-zone for a sun kissed glow with a light blush for a on the apples of my cheeks. I use my hands for the BB cream and a blush brush from ELF for the blush. It you wanna try out using brushes but aren't up for putting a bunch of money into them, I'd get the ones from Elf. They are sold at Target and most don't cost over 3 dollars. They aren't the best but they work great for me! They also make some good tinted moisturizers out there. I'd suggest those or BB cream to keep a more natural look. :) hope this helps!!

I agree with the Bb cream its like a one stop shop for all your beauty basics they usually include the primer sun protection moisturizer and sheer coverage all in one for blush I like more of a blush/bronzer duo and blend the two colors for a natural finish and use the E and 3 methods described by too faced - sephora has some good tutorial videos on their site or just browse the beautylish videos the key to natural is less is more so if you don't need it then do without it!

I also agree with a BB cream, also a concealer (to hide any blemishes, dark circles, redness, etc. and to draw light to your face), pressed powder (for the T-zone), a good mascara (black is great, but brown looks more natural if you're a beginner), a good blush that is good for your skin tone, and a brown or black eyeliner pencil (liquid liner is really hard if you're just starting out with make-up. If you prefer eyeshadow over eyeliner, you can buy a small eyeshadow palette from the drugstore (or any other place) with earthy/more natural looking tones. Hope I helped! :)
