Yes it will. I use SPF 50 & I reapply as directed. :)

There's a specific sunscreen just for tattoos that I have seen at Wal-Mart :)

Everyone I know with a lot of exposed work, puts a much higher SPF on their tattoos and always makes sure to do this with frequent applications in the summer.
