The colors Essie has are really pretty but I've found with every single one I've bought that I need like four coats just to get it to match the color it looks in the bottle.

I heard some ppl on yt say they bought essie for the color, not the formula in particular..essies too expensive 4 me when I know I can get sinful colors nail polishes for $2 and sometimes even $1.

It takes long to dry than all of my others which is a lot

From my experience, Essie takes longer to dry itself but it lasts a lot longer. I like Essie brush because they are thin.

Not all of their colors are sheer, mostly just the lighter ones. I like that, though, because you get to decide how dark or opaque you want the color to be on your nails. And as long as your doing thin coats and waiting about 2-5 mins between coats, which should be done with all polishes, it dries just fine. It's my favorite polish because its B3F and it lasts long if applied correctly and with a good top coat. I prefer OPI top coats over Essie's- just a better formula.

I love their red shades. I can get full coverage in two thin coats and with a topcoat it doesn't chip at all for a whole week, which is amazing for me. I chip my polish SO easily.
