I think it depends how you usually wear you hair
if you want to do the braids that are longer or if you like curling your hair (I like curls on long hair but thats my prefrence) I would keep it long
I would keep it that length or shoulder length like Megan K said.

I dunno I like it long but if you get it cut don't get layers I speak from experience nothing but fly away hairs and split ends and its so unmanageable I have natural layers and I'm planning on getting it cut into all same length I hate having layers just whatever you do don't get layers its too much
