Erin M.
I have pretty persistent eczema on parts of my body: hands, small patches around my nose, chin and arms. I've been using a prescription topical steroid and my everyday body lotion is Aveeno Baby, for my face I use a combination skin Spectro lotion, and apply the Aveeno only to problem areas as I have acne too. My eczema is usually manageable but I get bad flare ups that last months with no relief regardless of the above routine.
I've read about argan oil being useful for eczema and have been doing some google searches and have heard mixed reviews. I was wondering if anyone with persistent eczema has used this oil for at least 6mo to a year and what their results are like? The time frame is because I've heard most negative feedback occurred after prolonged use.
Not to offend or exclude, but if you use this oil and have normal skin your results may be completely different from mine, and possible flare ups are not just itchy but also painful. So please, I really just want to know how the oil relates to eczema prone skin. Thank you!! XD
