When I accidently get a brown mascara, I usually try it only on my BOTTOM lashes. Brown mascara on the bottom lashes are so perfect because I don't really like emphasizing my waterline or bottom lashes. But in my opinion, brown mascara instead of black for your bottom lashes are so perfect.

Personally I absolutely LOVE Brown mascara. I also like you never thought to try it until my cousin gave me hers that she hadn't used before and she didn't like it (she is not as experienced with makeup-just black mascara & eyeliner) so I used it and I fell in love! I think it makes things look softer and a lot less intense when that is the look you're going for. so when I went to purchase a new maybelline full n soft, I got the color blackish brown instead of just black! love it especially for dark brown eyes.
