Neutrogena pink grapefruit foaming scrub oil free acne wash is really good. It smells amazing and cleanses really well, and it's pretty cheap.

Acne free totally burned my skin, made it flaky and it took a month to recover. If you have sensitive skin, it may not be the way to go. Proactive worked for a while, but when I couldn't afford it anymore, my skin broke out twice as badly as before. I've been using Neutrogena naturals fresh cleansing and makeup remover and my skin is great! And once a week, I scrub with baking soda and my regular face wash.

Use a mild soap like dove or cetiphil, don't scrub your face & most of all over medicate it, I recommend not buying medicated cleanser. If anything but persa gel 10 and apply it sparingly to only the big pimples. This saved my skin!

I used the equate version of proactive, and it works great. It can dry your skin out if you have sensitive skin, so use another good moisturizing lotion at night with it.

I recommend going to a doctor! I used proactive and other brands that totally broke me out... Turns out I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide (the stuff in most cleansers.) the main ingredient in all cleansers is benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. I have a prescription for evoclin now and it is literally like my little miracle in a bottle. So find out your skin type and go from there! Prescription will be most effective and insurance should cover a good portion of it. Good hygiene and a nightly routine will help clear it up in time though(:

I had acnefree and hated it so I ordered proactive and I loved it, ran out, used acnefree until my new order came in, and broke out overnight. Very oily products
