I'm going into high school this year and I wanna definitely wear some makeup to school. However I don't want to look like I'm trying to hard and I don't like for makeup to transfer (which tends to happen to me a lot). Anyway I'm also pretty lazy and I can't imagine during most of the school year me waking up too early to get ready.
Should I just stick to concealer and face powder for skin makeup or instead foundation/bb cream and concealer etc.?
I got the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer but I got it slightly lighter to use simply as a concealer. And i was gonna use my Maybelline fit me pressed powder in my shade as an all over powder foundation.
The powder covers pretty well on me...does that sound like it would be appropriate for school? And not look cakey or have too much of a problem with transferring?

Of course it would be school appropriate :) I work all day and come home at around 7pm, and I can't be bothered applying the whole foundation, concealer, powder, blush, eyebrows, mascara thing. As I believe you don't have much to cover, in your place I'd just stick to some concealer under my eyes and to cover any spots, fit me pressed powder, a little bit of mascara and a lipbalm to keep your lips moisturized.
This being said, I believe you should do whatever you want without worrying about "looking like you've tried too hard" or left the house completely bareskin.
You're beautiful regardless of the makeup you wear, so just do as you like :)

Personally I usually wore concealer under my eyes, translucent powder to set it, mascara, and did my eyebrows. Later I stopped caring as much about putting on concealer and just stuck to mascara and dipbrow. I enjoy doing my makeup but not rushing with it, so some days when I had extra time I would do a full face with BB Cream, bronzer, highlighter, etc. That was pretty rare though (like for picture day, if I had something after school, and so on). That's just me personally.
I don't think you'll have a problem with the powder transferring because usually that happens if you don't use a setting powder after liquid products. You'll get a feel for what other girls at your school do, and remember that most people won't actually be able to tell whether you're wearing concealer or not! You're probably the only one who pays attention to your imperfections. Good luck in high school!

I'm going into high school this year too, and I only use concealer under my eyes and on some spots. I then set it with the Fit Me translucent pressed powder, and use Benetint on my cheeks. Then some lip gloss. I've used foundation and BB Cream and I prefer my current routine a lot more. I feel less weighed down and less self conscious because I feel covered but not cakey. For me, foundation is not necessary for school and can transfer fairly easily if you sweat a lot or have oily skin (that's based off of what I've used.) BB Cream would be fine if you wanted to take more time in the morning. This is just me and I hope this helps!

I cannot live a day without my Tarte Double Duty Shape Tape Concealer. It's it's only my choice, you should make yours. This may help https://www.theolive.com/reviews/best-concealers/. And remember, whatever concealer you choose, don't forget to pair it with a damp beauty sponge if you don't want it to emphasise any dryness.
