I had never dyed my hair, this is the first time dying it.
I used L’oreal Semi-permanent black hair dye (even though I though it was brown).
Anyway, the hair dye went way darker than expected and now I hate it.
I dyed my hair a few days ago and have been washing it loads.
I have used baking soda and anti dandruff shampoo together which stripped a lot of dye but it doesn’t look much lighter.
Do any of you have any suggestions on how to remove the ‘28 wash’ semi permanent hair dye?

You could try sun in, it's supposed to lighten hair through the sun, and I think you just buy it and then pit it in your hair, hope that helps.

Use a oil based shampoo and conditioner. Suave has a duo for 3.98 and it has shea butter in it. it helps fade it especially if you condition then shampoo!

Extremely dark dye usually has some blue based pigment which has better adherence to the hair shaft due to the small molecular size of blue-based colors.
Please don't continue using harsh treatments like baking soda; you will do a lot of damage to your hair. It is best (if you can afford it) to find a recommended colorist via word-of-mouth to help you with removing the color.
