I really need help! I've been dying my hair pink for 2 years, but now I want to go natural. My hair was platinum blonde before I started dying it pink, so I thought I could just get the pink out and dye my hair a darker blonde...
Problem! I can't get rid of the pink!! I have tried the dandruff shampoo with vitamin C twice and it took some of it off and it's more of a salmon light pink now. I don't want to bleach it as my hair is already dead and breaking from all of the crap I do to it (I heat style it everyday.) Does anyone know what I can do?
*I did a test strand to dye it a medium blonde and nothing happened. I don't want to go dark.

In my own personal experience with dying my hair - you can't really go from a darker color to a lighter color - it just doesn't work that way... think of painting a wall with a lighter color over the darker color... isn't going to happen unless you strip the darker color - so something you can try is "color oops" or "color fix" it will try to remove the dyed color from your hair - you can buy it at ULTA or most beauty supply stores (like sally's) anyways hope that helps!
another alternative is to go to a professional and have them do it for you - they probably have more experience in removing hair dye. good luck!
