Hi Beautylish Friends,
I've been on the hunt (seems like forever) for a quality, highly pigmented, smooth and long lasting black eyeshadow. The most important part being the colour - I've acquired a number of black eyeshadows of varying price points and picked up a few tips and tricks and how to intensify the look but as of yet my go-to for ultra black eyeshadow has ended up being using a professional powdered eyeliner (the kind you mix with a tiny drop of "sealing" liquid that comes with it) and just skipping the liquid and using the powder as eyeshadow. Sometimes I will add a thick black kohl eyeliner as a fill in to cover my eyelids first, post primer, and then dab on the eyeshadows and/or liner powder. ideally I'd like to find a version that is matte and also one that has an elegant subtle shimmer (no glitter). I know that Natasha Denona has a shade called "blackest black" but I'm yet to test in person and the very few reviews I've managed to find have not been great, complimenting the finely milled quality of the product but basically saying it's far from blackest black out there. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice about how I may find this holy grail product I've been searching for like a soulmate all these years? 😀 thanks in advance X Ana
