Can I use eyeshadow to substitute for translucent powder?

For something like setting your lipstick sure, but you want to make sure the eyeshadow doesn't contain any ingredients that arent safe for the mouth area. for a full face, I wouldnt trust it in general. different ingredients for different purposes usually and I can't think of a translucent eyeshadow or one without pigments that would affect the look of the face makeup.
