I got my hair dyed about two weeks ago. This isnt the first time I've gotten it dyed, however I'm looking for a new color depositing shampoo. My hair is a violet red, I can post a picture if it's easier. What shampoo would you recommend??
Thanks!

I don't know about a color depositing shampoo but Overtone is basically the same except it's a conditioner. It really helped keep up my hair colors when I had blue and purple hair. It's only available online and they have a large selection of colors. Depending on your color you may have to mix two of the conditioners to get the best shade but I think you can email them for a suggestion if you're unsure what shade (s) to buy (:

A semi permanent hair dye will deposit color without damage.

Thank you Alexis! I'll look into that brand!
@patty. I don't want to have to try to match my color. That's why I'm looking for something to just make the color vibrant

I agree with Alexis, Overtone conditioners are great! You will likely have to mix two together, as they have red and violet, but I don't believe they have red violet. However, overtone is best for keeping vibrant fashion colors looking bright, so if yours is more of a red violet tint, it may be too intense. If that's the case, I'd recommend mixing some semi permanent veggi dye (like manic panic, arctic fox, etc) that matches your tint into some white conditioner. The concentration of pigment will be lower, so you won't get super bright, but if a tint is what you have it should keep it from fading.
