I've been using Peter Thomas Roth products listed below to try to improve the overall quality of my skin
The products are
*Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Cleanser and Mask
*Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Mask and highlighter
*Peter Thomas Roth Acne Clearing wash

I also pair my PTR products with some Fresh Products
I use the Rose petal infused toner mask and the Soy Bean cleanser

I have a procedure of washing my face daily sometimes twice a day to clean up any makeup and I use one mask with the toner mask. And then I rub Micellar water over my entire face and go to sleep.

I bought all these products thinking this was good enough but it's not I need your help, I STILL get breakouts (Hormonal only) and I still have this dull almost see through skin (pink and purple). I am also taking three different type of vitamins as well for my skincare. This has been a struggle, I know perfect skin isn't possible. My skin quality has improved with diet and from what I believe to be good products but I would like to know what helped (what truly helped) others to improve their overall skin quality.

I have stopped wearing makeup, I only wear eye, brow, and lash makeup. But I've cut out all foundations because I was noticing how they would break me out, even BB and CC creams alone (YSL and Urban Decay). I think at this point I feel a little desperate, my skin only looks good from far away lol.

I've included a picture of me with no makeup on one of my good days, wishing I looked like that now because now I'm broke out.

Also I am in need of a good under eye product for eye bags o.o

Ladies? Help?

Have you looked into maybe a brush like the Clarisonic or the Clinique sonic brush I was having realy bad problems with skin texture and patches and dullness that no products would get rid of because I'm on chemo and unfortunately it messes up my whole body hormones skin weight hair the works I was getting desperate but didn't want to spend the 200 for the Clarisonic I know there are cheaper versions so I looked at the Clinique one it's not as bulky as the Clarisonic and the tip is made to fit in the contours of your nose and t zone it has helped me soooooo much I thinks it's definetly worth looking into even after the 1st time using you can feel and see a huge difference it like scrubs off the whole 1st layer of your face hahahaha that's sounds bad but I mean in a good way by the way you are so damn beautiful I have super respect for chick's like you when I was completely bald from chemo I got my head tattooed and rocked that shit and I'd run into other woman who had shaved their heads and it's like we had this unspoken understanding like yea I don't need hair to know I'm the shit lol in secret though I lost mine by no choice it's growing back now but I miss my tattoo and no hair well when it started growing in it looked buzzed that's when I liked it not when I was Mr clean bald haha but hey I'm rambling it definitely check out the brush!

@Danica P. I will definitely look into the brush thanks for the info. And stay strong glad to hear you could appreciate your bald/ shaved head. You don't need hair to be beautiful ;)

You should definitely be exfoliating and using a proper moisturizer, a micellar water isn't going to moisturize/hydrate your skin enough. I absolutely recommend a Clarisonic for deep cleansing and exfoliating so you're killing two birds with one stone.

There's really nothing you can do skincare wise about the hormonal acne since it's a hormone issue and not really a skin issue. I think you'd have to see your gyno/obgyn for that.

Have you gotten a blood panel to see if you're deficient in something? I'd suggest doing that if you haven't already and take vitamins accordingly. If you don't have any deficiencies then you might naturally just have very thin skin.

For your under eyes I'd recommend the Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm or the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Cream

What does your entire skincare routine currently entail, and how would you describe your skin in detail?

One word, Dermatologist sometimes you just have to go to one if you tried everything and nothing is working. They have an arsenal of goodies and knowledge.

I would recommend using the Freederm daily exfoliating wash which I use once a day and it is amazing I also use their fast track blemish treatment twice a day (will insert a photo). Make sure that you are drinking lots of water and that your diet is clean which can help and I would use a moisturiser twice a day. I use the Simple light moustiriser because I have sensitive skin and it also has an SPF 15 in it. I would also recommend talking to skin care specialists too for more advice. Hope this helps:) ♡

Didn't like the Clarisonic but a friend pointed me to the Monsia Sonic 3 facial cleansing brush (I tried using hers first) it has 3 Speeds (Sensitive, Normal, Powerful), Interchangeable Brush Heads, rechargeable, waterproof.
Mine came with Sensitive Brush Head (I wanted something gentle to start with)
Drying Stand, Wall Adapter, USB-Enabled Universal Voltage pLink Charger & 2 year guarantee and the first scrub I tried was St. Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Apricot Facial Scrub. This product works well for me, cleans my face well without scrubbing too hard. I make sure I clean the brush after each use and replace it every 4 months approx.
