Hi Brittany - Please add some content to your thread. When posting a picture in the talk section you have to make it a “talk able” subject. You have to at least (in details) list all your products used. And tell the users what kind of feedback you are looking for. Did you use new products? A new look? Is there something in the look you are unsure about?

Sorry: I thought that was just for makeup of the day type thing
FACE: loreal pro glow, Maybelline fit me concealer in the lightest shade, Kevin Aucoin for contour
EYES:most colors from the Jaclyn hill favorites palette, the blue is colour pop, flower shop and snap dragon
lower lash is the same as above except abh modern Renaissance also.
LIPS: Nyx bloom liner, shocking pink matte lipstick. mac Herorine on top, makeup geek karma and blacklight for the shimmer. BROWS: abh dip brow blonde with some purple shadow.
SCALES: all the above eyeshadows
what could I improve on? how could I get the scales to be more intense? any other recommendations are welcome

You could use a fishnet or any net, strech it on your face and use a light green on one side of the holes (they will become scales) and a darker green on the side toward your hair. you could also add glitter to them! I love the eye, it is really "little mermaidy "

I tried the fishnet, but the eyeshadows just didn't show up really... and unfortunately I can't find any glitter to buy before Halloween :/

Maybe the fishnet wasn't stretched enough? or choose darker shadows maybe?

Hmm maybe, I wasn't trying to use super dark colors.. wanted it to be bright :/

Sometime using darker color as a base will help getting dimension and you'll be able,to put brighter color on top

Hmm I'll try that, :)

Looks great but you could go that extra step and try the fish net again
