Apply aloe Vera, or vitamin E oil.

Hydrocortisone cream (with aloe, if you have it) will help the irritation and inflammation immensely. Put it on 2-3 times a day. It's good to just put that on right after you wax. You may have removed the top layer of skin. If that happened, it will take a few days to scab over and it will peel and look normal. If this is the first time you've done this, and you did not remove the skin, your lip will get used to it and get less red and irritated each time. If you did remove the skin, it may be that you've used a retinol or your skin may have been too dry to begins with. Good luck!

Thank you, lI ended up applying aloe Vera gel from my mothers aloe Vera plant. The aloe Vera gel I got from the grocery stings so much!
