I'm looking for a bronzer that will apply nicely to the patches of my skin that don't like to take pigment. I'm currently using the lorac pro contour palette and the too faced chocolate soleil bronzer but they don't apply nicely on my patches. I usually have to pack on the product to make them look less patchy. I heard manny Mua has the same issues but he recommended Marc jacobs bronzer but I don't want to spend 50+ on a bronzer. Also do bronzer have to be so red and orange? I'm also looking for a nice bronzer for yellow/olive undertones.

I would consider trying the milk makeup matte bronzer, honestly this brand has blown me away this year, it is a cream bronzing stick that just melts into your skin like perfection. There is only one shade at the moment but I have seen it work on fair all the way up to olive tones. I used to use Nars Laguna and nars contour blush but this product replaced both, I absolutely love it. They sell it at Sephora I would read up on it and the reviews as well, and also visit the milkmakeup.com site. It sells for 24$ and totally worth every penny (:

As far as a bronzer with no orange or red, I recommend Nars Laguna. The patchiness problem is a little more challenging because there can be many reasons why your products are applying patchy. Could be dry skin, whereas you'll have to change up your skincare first before changing up your makeup routine or products. It could be textural problems like pores or rough texture, whereas a skincare change and a primer change will help. Or Possibly you're not setting your foundation and or concealer well enough so the bronzer is catching on moist areas. This can especially happen on areas where concealer has been used to spot concealer over foundation, so those areas take longer to set. And, lastly, and I think this is Mannymua's problem where the skin on the outer edge of the eye has a different "smooth" texture, almost like that waxy burned skin texture where product will just not stick to. I have that problem. With that problem, I will dry that area with a tissue, pressing the tissue, not wiping, which can make your eyes water and make the problem worse. After drying, I will dot on my Too Faced Shadow Primer there & powder it. If in the event my primer won't stick, I'll press on powder on it it first, then shadow primer and then sometimes, powder again.

I use one from hard candy and I like it a lot. You can also use it as a Contour.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not entirely sure why those spots are there they are pretty much on the same spot on either side which is exactly where I apply bronzer and contour. They don't feel any different then the rest of my face skin. I wonder if it's from the tropical acne medication I use to use when I had acne? Idk.
