For Halloween I'm going to be a (tasteful, lol) Playboy bunny! I have the outfit figured out as well as accessories and shoes but I'm struggling with the makeup.
I'm not a very "glam" person so I'm having a hard time figuring out a makeup look so any makeup ideas and inspiration would be greatly appreciated!
Keep in mind I don't like glitter and I don't wear winged liner. Thank you!

I think you should do a dark crease and a strong inner corner highlight. good luck with the costume

I personally agree with doing a dark crease and highlight in the corner but just to add a little glam I suggest applying bronzer and contouring your cheek and highlighting your cheek bones this will look like you put a really good effort but it's pretty simple good luck with your costume!:)

And just applying a lipstick will add a lot too and distract from any imperfections

Aryanna, I'm already going to bronze, contour, and highlight, it's more of the eye look and lipstick color that I need help with but thanks (:

Haha okay my mistake I would go with a dark crease highlighted brow bone and corner and red lipstick it is the original color they playboy bunnies wear

The playmates I've seen seem to keep it simple with a nice muted pinky nude and as far eye makeup, it's usually quite simple.
just a crease and lid color and liner on the waterline.
then kind of let the whole nudity do the speaking in the magazines lol
unless they have a famous person on and/or are doing a specific theme

Aurora, I think she's referring to the bunnies that worked at the 'Playboy Club' lounge...not centerfold Playmates...lol They cover the entire torso in the same vein as many Hollywood chorus girls did. They were adorable.
Alexis, I'd Google search for actual bunny photos. The make up, if you want to be historically accurate, is quite simple. They didn't get complicated.

@Rozberry, ahh I'm not familiar with much American or western stuff for the most part but I've seen images just now and the makeup looks pretty much the same as playmates I didn't really see bold lipsticks (even though pics are in black and white) or eye makeup. some had winged liner but seems like they let the costume do the talking

Lol, I'm definitely going for the Playboy Club look and not the centerfolds! I've been looking at pictures but I want to add some more "oomf" to it because it's Halloween, if that makes sense. I don't want to do just a pretty look that I could do on any regular day. Thank you, Roz and Aurora! (:

I'd go heavy on the black liquid liner with a good wing. Color would not be as important. Sort of a la Marilyn...

Thanks, Chris, but as I said I don't wear winged liner (:

Oh yeah! Sorry, I see that I missed that. Since I'm closer to that generation, it was what I remember of glamour and as Jenni said, it wasn't about the makeup. Sexy, bedroom eyes, not necessarily colorful.
