Whenever the winter hits I get the worst dry skin on my head and it's so irritating and itchy 😠I feel like when I itch I'm going to rip skin off my scalp because I have to itch my head so much.
Any shampoo/conditioner or treatment or product recommendations??

I believe Moroccan Oil has a condition/scalp treatment to help with dry scalp.
also Modere's repairing Hair mask is great for the scalp. it's an online brand.

It might not be so much what shampoo you're using, but maybe the water temp? I have very sensitive and easily-agitated skin and scalp, I have my whole life, and I find when I take really hot showers (the soul cleansing kind we all need once in a while lol), my skin all over my body is insatiably itchy, and I have scratched myself raw before bc of it. When I use more tepid water, my skin is so much more relaxed, including and especially my scalp.
Long story short, if you frequent crazy hot showers, maybe try to lower the temp a little bit over time. Or if you prefer, you could finish your shower with like 60+ seconds of lukewarm or cooler water to soothe and close everything back up. Cooler showers can help with skin/scalp issues, relieve oily skin, and helps make hair less frizzy too.
Long walk to a short drink of water haha but good luck! If changing shampoos doesn't do the trick, try gettin chilly 😎

Another pointer would be for olive oil or coconut oil scalp treatments every once in a while (maybe twice a month, or whatever works for you). Put the stuff directly on your scalp and let it sit there for an hour and wash it out real good

I find jojoba oil is soothing and it doesn't make my hair oily. I know it is OK for my skin because it is an ingredient in the Monsia Skincare products I use for my face. You might find this worth reading http://www.dryscalpgone.com/how-to-use-jojoba-oil-for-dry-scalp/ I hope it works for you.
