I've gotten loads of freckles over the summer and I've been putting on sunscreen every day to try and get rid of them but they just won't go away.

I don't think freckles are something you can just get rid of. If you can, try and embrace them. They're lovely. I know it's difficult, but accepting it instead of hiding them will boost your self confidence.

I agree I don't think there is a way to get rid of freckles honestly they are beautiful embrace them I know I wish I had freckles so don't try to change something that makes you unique don't think of it as an impurity think of it as something that is beautiful and makes you special.

I think freckles are really nice! They're actually becoming a trend for people who don't have them to use makeup to "have freckles"
But all in all it is your body and you know what you like and dislike. I feel like you could try brown spot reducers, but I'm not too sure how well that would work, because freckles are melatonin. Other than that you could colour correct and use foundation and powder to hide them.
Let us know how it works out!

I've personally been able to fade my freckles, as a ginger and when I was a kid they were super prominent and dark orange freckles however when I started wearing foundation on a regular basis (with sunscreen in it) they did fade a lot, people ask me these days where they went lol! So keep up with the sunscreen, it'll take some time but it'll happen :)

The sun defenitly makes them darker so spf all the way.

Using sunscreen alone will not make them go away but it will help prevent them getting darker. Freckling is unlike other skin discoloration because skin that freckles will do it with very little exposure to UV light, and no SPF product can eliminate 100% of the sun's rays as of yet. To keep it to a minimum, have ample antioxidants in your skincare routine, especially vitamin C, look into a chemical exfoliant with salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or lactic acid depending on your skin type, and always make sure your SPF is a "broad spectrum protection" product, because SPF only refers to UVB protection without that on the label.
