Are you looking for full coverage? If not I love to use bb creams, they give a fresh your skin but better look, the one I use is garnier bb cream in medium and it never cakes on me.

One word - Skincare. If your base isn't good, what you put on top of it won't be either. What's your skincare routine, skin type? What products have you used makeup wise? How do you apply the product?

I'm looking for full coverage , I have discoloration on my skin from acne so I'm trying to cover that up without it looking like I'm wearing a lot.

I use to have a beauty blender but my dog ate it :c I bought a set of morphie brushes so I use that now. And I use a laura geller primer , I have the UD all nighter foundation and a tarte clay foundation and I recently bought a better skin foundation that I bought at a drug store. I feel like it might be the brushes that just don't work that well for me.

Personally I couldn't get a flawless look from the UD All Nighter Foundation or the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation. Sometimes less is more so I'd suggest getting a medium/medium to full coverage Foundation (rather than just a full coverage one) and build up the foundation where you need the extra coverage or go in with concealer, you might get a better result that way.

Be sure to follow a good skincare routine. Always apply moisturiser before makeup, and then a primer (I like nude by nature primer and NYX primer). For discolouration, I have been LOVING Loreals CC cream in anti-redness (it is green, then turns into your skin colour when rubbing it in, and it really evens out the skin!!), on top of that I then apply foundation (usually Loreal true match, but sometimes I use Estée Lauder double wear for good occasions). IThen I apply concealer if I need it (maybelline age rewind), then set lightly with Covergirl radiance powder. It gives me a full coverage look, but is not cakey at all (despite it sounding like a lot of makeup!). I use a dense stippling brush to apply foundation, but my fingers for my concealer. Also set with a setting spray :)

Definitely make sure you have a regular skincare routine that works for your skin type! Make sure to moisturize and prime before makeup and you could use a setting spray for after to make your makeup last. Drink lots of water. At the No7 makeup counter they can find you the PERFECT foundation and concealer which will make you look less cakey. Use minimal amounts of make up. Use a small amount if translucent powder. Hope all these tips help:) ♡
