Hey, so I just got into makeup not too long ago. I know how to apply foundation, false lashes, I'm okay with eyebrows & lips. I would like learn eyeshadow, contour, highlight and winged liner? Help me please & thanks!

Okay thanks, I'll go and check it out then

If you don't want to order online then the Maybelline and NYX eyeshadow palettes are great quality and affordable.

Contouring and highlighting will be different depending on your face shape but generally you'd contour your cheekbones, sides of the nose, temples/forehead, and your jawline and highlight the tops of your cheekbones, down the center of the nose, the Cupid's bow, and the center of the forehead and chin. You don't have to do all those places, again or depends on your face shape and your personal preference on what you want to stand out.

Practice makes perfect with winged liner. I would not suggest using Tape as a guide because it pulls at the delicate skin around your eye every time you take it off, I'd suggest using a business card or something similar instead.

Pinterest has loads of guides of how to do contour, highlight and eyeshadow and YouTube has loads of tutorials on how to do these things.

Contour: Go to a make up counter and check out what shade. Powder is easier and easily build able. It goes under your cheekbones, on your forehead, jawline and down the bridge of your nose.

Highlight: Above cheekbones, down nose, above nose, cupids bow and chin.

Liner: Master pencil then go to felt tip. Use tape to help you.

Hope this helps:) ♡

When I was learning to contour I honestly just watched heaps of YouTube videos. I've also always found powder contour easier than cream contour... and always start out with a small amount and slowly add to it if necessary. Same goes for eyeshadow... just blend blend blend, and start with small amount and build up to it... I also learnt lots about eyeshadow and wined liner from YouTube. As for highlight, I like to place it on the cheekbones, bridge of nose, Cupid's bow, and eyebrow bone. Practice makes perfect! Good luck

Oh yes! Like Anna said... when starting out with eyeliner... beginning with pencil, or even dark eyeshadow is a good way to start out and learn what thickness and length of liner suits your eye (easier to use), then progress to liquid or gel liner. Tape can also be very helpful :)
