Every time I set my under eye area it always looks darker than before powder. I absolutely have to set my under eyes otherwise they're a creasy mess. I use a translucent powder currently. Any recommendations?

Can you share what products you're using? It will help me provide recommendations. Are you using a concealer that is a little lighter than your foundation color? What brand of setting powder do you use?
I will share what works for me personally. I use the Tarte Shape Tape concealer 2-3 shades lighter than my foundation (I have very dark circles). I set it with RCMA Setting Powder, sometimes Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. I also use the following ...
One recommendation is to try the brightening setting powders from Besame Cosmetics (at Sephora). They are really good and come in different color correcting shades.

Ah forgot something... make sure you're using a really good moisturizer, especially under the eye area, before applying your makeup. This will ensure your eye area looks great and doesn't appear dry. You may want to experiment with mixing a drop or 2 of a beauty oil in with your foundation and concealer.
