I've been debating getting a Birchbox subscription for a while because I love trying new samples. The online reviews are mixed. Not sure I want to spend $10 a month if it's not worth it... Advice?

I think you definitely get your money's worth, just know that they usually don't send makeup samples. A lot of it is skin care and perfume with occasional nail polish or make up.

I've heard mixed reviews as well, but I've mostly seen that a lot of people cancel their birchboxes for something else like Ipsy or one of the other brands out there. I think birchbox has a more random assortment of things so if you're looking for lots of beauty related items I would maybe consider another instead.

If you're looking for a box that has more makeup products then definitely try ipsy or glossybox; it depends on what you're more interested in

Glossybox is a good alternative!

I like birchbox! There is now tons of these type of sites out there. All same concept but will all have different styles. Switch company's! Try birch box out for 2-4 months then stop membership and go to another company! Ive only tired birch box so I can't speak on the other sites, my experience with this company is I love it for about 4 months then got tired of it, so I stopped my service that was about 9 months ago now I want it back! And personally it's my type of site!

No dont! Apperently birch box was good like a year ago and now all the send you is fragrance samples and dont even put any effort into it. You should get ipsy instead :)

Sorry to mix it up but the best for me is BeautyArmy, you take a quizz and get to pick 6 of their samples each month:)

The quizz is to get some personalized items wich best suit you and i think its $12 a box

Its fun to try for awhile, $10 is one of the lowest subscription boxes you will find. I did it for about 6 months, but then got bored and tried out some new ones, I don't have one now but I kind of miss it. It was great for my blog, people were very into the YouTube video posts that I did on that.
