So I read that mixing 2 tbsp. of brown sugar with water and spraying it on your hair, helps to straighten it without heat. Does anyone know if this really works or not?? Has anyone else ever heard this before??

Brown sugar??
That can only result in a sticky crunchy mess. Ever gotten syrup in your hair? Imagine that but toned down.

If I were you, I'd stick to heat protectant, hair straightener and finishing oils lol.
