Best eyeliner for waterline?

I've been on a never-ending search for an eyeliner to wear on my waterline that won't get on my contacts. I've tried Urban Decay 24/7, Tarte Amazonian gel liner, etc but they all somehow get on my contacts and I feel like I'm swimming underwater all day. Any suggestions I could try??

Most eyeliner pencils should be okay. They're usually oil based and soft enough to go right on the water line but not float around on your eyes. It should go on easy without pressing too hard. I've found self sharpening the best.
