Brazilian and Keratin straightening are the same. If you decide to do it, go to a reputable salon that has experience with it and do NOT attempt a DIY job.
Japanese straightening is way more expensive and takes way longer. It also permanently changes the texture of your hair. Keratin straightening will smooth out the cuticle and leave you some wiggle room for styling in addition to making your hair very shiny and eliminating frizz. It will definitely relax a curl, but unlike the Japanese straightening, it will still HOLD a curl if you decide to put one in with a wand/iron or whatever.

Thanks guys. Because my hair isn't mega curly, I may opt for the Brazilian straightening. It sounds like the jap straightening may make my hair dull.
How do u deal with regrowth?
