Beauty Pageant Views and Makeup?

I'm thinking of entering my first beauty pageant. I'm 17 years old and live in Australia so they aren't as common as in the U.S.A

I would like some ideas/tips/inspiration on makeup looks that are very popular within beauty pageants, and would be a great hit!
