I have a rash from Fifths disease all over my face. I'm afraid to use my usual Body Shop Tea Tree Oil face wash because I think it might irritate my face more. At the same time I don't want to just use water because I have a itch cream on it and I'm afraid it will break me out in acne. What do you guys think? Should I try the face wash or do you guys have any other suggestions?

I also don't know about moisturizers or anything else. And the rash from fifths usually lasts 1-3 weeks so it would have to be a sort of long term solution

When I get a really bad dermatitis rash on my face I usually avoid using my cleanser. I personally just put some cool water on my face and then I apply an ice pack (in a towel) to my face to sooth the itch. I also really recommend putting some pure aloe vera gel on your rash (not the green stuff you find at the drugstore). it helps moisturize and sooth. tea tree can be harsh on your face and dry out your skin. the body shops tea tree cleanser is good but I feel like it will dry you out. if yoh want to cleanse maybe try the body shopa aloe cleanser or a gentle toner but only cleanse once or twice a week until the rash starts to go away.

Oh my gosh is didn't think of aloe. I bet that would feel so soothing on it. Thanks! I'll look in to the gentler cleansing options you mentioned

No problem! even though it won't make it go away aloe has been my life savee to sooth my rashes. I keep it in the fridge so it's nice and cold. I hope it will go away for you soon I know how frustrating a rash can be.
