Short hair suggestions?

I just had my hair cut VERY short and I'm not sure how to style it other than just a normal straight style. Any ideas?

You can do looser curls with straight ends:)

When my hair was just a little bit shorter than that (maybe an inch?) I would style it with like an 1 1/2" barrel curling iron and it wouldn't really do that much but curl the ends inwards which was what I was trying to go for. I don't really have any decent forward facing photos though! But this is how it looked from the back.
