Best Moisterizer Before Or After Makeup??

Hello ladies I wanted to know what moisterizers you guys have been using. I have dry skin and when I put my foundation I have patches of flakes with makeup or just flakes so recently I started just today using the Tarte Maracuja Oil anyone have any good suggestions please lmk 😁

The clinique moisture surge intense is super moisturizing. it will also help if you exfoliate your nose regularly, also using a setting spray should minimize the appearance of the flakes. These things really help me with my nose which used to be super flaky. :)

Def agree you've got to exfoliate the help the flakes- since you're dry, I would suggest mild chemical exfoliation. Esp like First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads, very mild! Much more effective than scrubbing and works well bf makeup and moisturizer. The oil is a great idea!! I do 2 drops in my palm, spray with alcohol free toner/water, rub palms to mix and emulsify then pat on my face 😊

Deborah - see where my flake is on my forehead and then some patches around my face like by my cheeks or so. I don't want my face to be super duper wet lol I used the NARS sheer glow foundation and I stopped a bit and started using the MAC Studio Face & Body which is more wet but I don't know I like it but then I don't lol

Carmelle - The toner is for what I've heard about that before a lady at Macy's told me about the one in the pic below as a toner what does that do I'm starting to want to take care more n more of my skin at night
