Would dying your hair damage it very bad? I want to dye my hair when I am 16 (my mothers age limit ((strict parents))) and I am too nervous because I feel like my hair wont be the same anymore.

It will damage it a little bit! Just make shure to condition your hair and it won't be to bad!

Depends on the color. Blonde will damage your hair more than anything else. But your hair will be fine. Maybe start with streaks or highlights? Then you can decide later if you want to dye your whole head!

Well I bleached my hair twice, & that damaged it. But before bleaching, I died it many colours & it was perfectly fine. Just please don't bleach it :( mines still falling out & that was almost 9 months ago ..

If you dye it yourself it will most likely damage a little bit. (Know from experience) but if you get it done by a hair stylist your hair will stay the same.

Any kind of dye will damage it. It's something adhering to your hair shaft, altering the strand. However, bleach is more damaging than dye.
I know this because I've been dyeing my hair for five years, both professionally and at home. Even in a professional setting I've had damage.

While dye of any kind causes some damage, everyone's hair is different. Mine is very color resistant and takes a real beating with minimal damage, but I also take care to condition and hydrate my hair with masks and oil treatments. Once you try coloring, you will begin to learn about how your hair responds to it, but go slow and unless your heart is set on blonde, avoid bleach!
