My sister and I are in the market to find some new holy grail products for our hair. She has very thick, long, straight and slightly coarse hair, and I have thin, medium-length, oily roots and slightly dry ends. We're in the market for EVERYTHING. I heat style my hair more than she does, so the heat protection and styling products would be more geared towards me, whereas the deep conditioners, smoothing and repair products would go more for her, but we could both benefit from them. So anyways, I'd love to hear what your recommendations are for some awesome products. I'm desperately searching for a new hairspray as the TiGI MasterPiece has ended up drying out my hair and being too firm of a hold for me. I really like the Redken Fashion Work 12, but if there is another one out there that you recommend, I'm all ears. I'm up for suggestions! Thanks in advance! :)

I just heard about Karmin's 4 step hair repair system, I thought they only made hair styling tools, obviously not, it might be worth checking out.

I'm not sure what kind of budget your on but I highly recommend the living proof line. They have different lines that are geared towards specific hair concerns, but it seems to me that the PHD line is wonderfully universal. They also have a fantastic heat protectant. As a stylist I've used literally everything and these are my "Holy Grail" products for sure.

I've tried a Living Proof PHD product before. I think it was a leave-in treatment. I just remember using it before blowing drying my hair. I liked it a lot, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was or what I did with the packet cuz I was going to look it up.

Was it a cream? And was it a leave in conditioner type treatment or was it to aid in styling? I can name a few items depending on these questions :)

It was a leave-in kinda cream I believe. I'm not really sure LOL it's been a while ago.
