I've been putting coconut oil in my hair and I'm not seeing any results, does it really make it grow?

There is no study that shows that it makes your hair grow, but it is great for adding moisture. The only thing to my knowledge that actually can help stimulate hair growth is Biotin and using castor oil to promote hair strength and sustainability so that breakage becomes minimal and hair grows easier rather than breaking off. Coconut oil is more for moisturizing and repairing the hair from damage, so it turns it can "help" hair grow, but it doesn't actually MAKE it grow.

There's no miracle product or technique to make hair grow faster as hair growth is based on genetics however there are things you can do to help your hair grow to its fullest potential.
-use sulphate free shampoos
-use a hair mask at least once a week
-don't brush hair when wet
-use as little heat as possible
-use a heat protectant when you do use heat
-make sure your buns/ponytails aren't too tight
-drink plenty of water and keep yourself healthy as well

Coconut oil just helps with the health of your hair which long term can help it grow to its fullest healthiest extent, but it doesn't speed up hair growth or anything like that.
