So my hair is light brown and in the summer the sun makes it really light. trouble is it's winter now and my hair has lost its highlights and has gotten darker. I want to go blonde...even blonder then I get in summer. I don't want to use permanent hair color cause I'm afraid of messing up. can I lighten my light brown hair to blonde using demi or semi permanent? if not, is there any other temporary ways I can get light hair?

Semi or Demi doesn't lighten hair. It only deposits color into your hair. In order to lighten you would have to use a permanent color with a 20 or 30 developer or use bleach.
