I have been wanting a more intense highlight, and my research brought me to Becca pressed highlighters as well as Laura Geller gelato swirl highlighters (not sure it that is the name but it's the one with the spiral). I'm not looking for color dupes, just for a brief rundown of what each product offers. I have brown hair and eyes and a light skin tone with a yellow undertone for reference😊 Thanksgiving!

I own Becca's champagne pop and opal, as well as LG Gilded Honey. I prefer Becca's formula more. The powder is really soft and it's not glittery at all.

I'm not going to say which I think is better because everyone's idea of BETTER is different and subjective. I'd rather give you a more objective description. Champagne Pop (CP) is lighter, and a traditional powder, which I'm assuming you prefer (it also comes in a cream & liquid). The packaging is beautiful and sturdy, but the product itself is delicate and can shatter easily if dropped. Laura Geller Gilded Honey is a gold with a touch of amber in it, so it is a darker, more saturated gold. It has a thinner texture, kind of like a gel/powder hybrid so it has it has less texture. to it. Because of this unique "gelato" texture it's going to require a different kind of brush. Not the typical highlighter brush. I prefer a small duo-fiber brush. Also there is less product in it than the CP, although because of the formula & texture of the product, it may last just as long as the CP. The packaging is cheap but the product is sturdy and won't shatter easily. Hope that helps. Imo, LG Gilded Honey may be too yellow for fair skin. But of course everyone is different, so it may look beautiful on some light skintones.
