I keep breaking out around my chin. It's usually down the corner of my lips. I do everything possible to try and help this and nothing is working. My skin is also dehydrated but I try and keep it moisturized. Any recommendations to help it??

What is your current skin routine? Would you say you have normal, dry, oily, or combo skin? And what products are you using?

I use dermalogica special cleansing gel, neutrogena acne stuff, I do both of those during the shower. Afterwards I use a toner, then hydrating serum and benefit moisturizer. I never really had this problem up until recently, I thought it was from using Chapstick but I haven't applied Chapstick in about two weeks and it still gets worse. It's not on the center of my chin just on the outsides. I would say that it's combo.

I notice that for me, most acne I get on my chin is usually hormonal. I feel like you might be using too many products too (just as far as the cleansers, you really only need one good cleanser, no need for two). I recommend using one acne cleanser (I like Murad Clarifying & Philosophy Clear Days both of these have trial size kits that aren't too expensive). For moisturizer, I recommend CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (amazing for any dehydration) and doesn't cause breakouts (at least for me it hasn't after 3 years and I have extremely sensitive and acne prone skin).

Also, make sure you are removing all of your makeup before cleansing. You want your cleanser to do its job, not just try to remove your makeup.

Now you may not be interested but I highly recommend get a Clarisonic, it completely transformed my skin. I've had it for 3 years and it was worth every penny. It also has basically eliminated the need for other products such as exfoliators, toners, spot treatments, etc. so I've actually saved a ton on money in the long run from not need all those skin care products...

Sounds like it's hormonal. HOWEVER I highly, HIGHLY recommend using a cleansing oil to remove makeup before cleansing. I have dry skin and it has transformed my skin!! I use the Clinique take the day off balm and CANNOT live without it. It lasts a year Btw.  :)

Breaks out around your chin could be cause by a poor diet and hormones. If you drink soda, try to stop and drink more water. I always keep a container filled with water by my bed every night.
