Nothing can make your hair grow faster than genetics allows. A hair mask should be done at least once a week but I don't think using coconut oil more than that would cause any harm.

I use coconut oil on my hair once a week to lock in the moisture because I live in a dry area so my scalp always peels! using coconut oil helps a lot!
