I'm going to the hair dresser soon to dye my hair, I've never got a drastic change with my hair because I'm just scared to do it lol but I am going to now, so I've got two different hair colours which I like both but I don't know what to choose!?
I have black wavy/curly hair and my skin tone is light/medium with yellow undertones.

Rama you need to start your own thread. the first one is nice and a lot easier to maintain than number 2. but number 2 looks lovely and is that bit different. I think either would be lovely.

No; it's just if you're dying your hair from black, the second color has more brassier tones which is more easier to achieve.

Both will be hard to maintain. Since you are going from a level 1-3 (black) to about a 7 (or lighter) it will require lightening, and it will probably damage your hair. Yes the it will look red from the lightening but you don't want to have those brassy tones be your red color. It really doesn't look nice. If you wanted the red you would have to lift it higher/lighter and tone it or color it to what you want. Same goes for the lighter brown. I will definitely recommend going to a professional and do your research about what salon you choose! I would look into if they have a portfolio or Instagram so you can see their work. I have worked at the best salon in my city so I have seen many things go wrong with hair. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Hope I helped :)
