Hello! okay so a little background, I have naturally dark brown/red hair. a month ago I went to get it dyed. I went through one round of bleach and a toner (not sure which one). I went back this week and got another round of bleach. my hair isn't damaged much, I have very strong hair. Anyways, now my hair is pretty close to white near the roots but the middle and ends are still a bright yellow with an orange tint (see photo). I've heard so many good things about the Wella Toners, and I was just wondering which one would work better with my hair color to achieve a platinum/icy blonde. thanks!

White Lady aka Color Charm T18. Here it is on me, but left only for a FEW minutes. Use with caution...test a few strands by rubbing dry with a towel and inspecting in good lighting. Toners gone wrong are a nightmare...lol But in full disclosure, my hair is was not the shade of yellow yours is, but instead was a warmer blonde prior to the toning.
A toner won't lift, but it should cut the brass.

You may need to bleach the ends still. It needs to be a soft yellow and then go ahead and put on the T18 which is what I used to get a more platinum color.
I never had an issue with the timer turning my hair any other color I feel like the toner is quite sheer and isn't going to make your hair a super unnatural color, maybe a heavy tone to it but it usually washes off pretty easy

I agree, my hair was not as yellow prior to toning so lift would be needed if you are looking for a color such as mine..a cool blonde in the pic. As for the time, my toner is now Pravana, but even then, it is left on briefly, as is my hair dresser's preference for my own tastes; I trust Aurora and Hailey's judgment.
