I don't know help please! and for my first question my before my makeup I mean like a moisturizer or bb cc cream I need something to help even my skin tone and oh my! my eyes get so dark!! here's a picture with me now with my make up I just put on this morning and here's what I usually use.

-revlon 24hr color stay 250 fresh beige

Loreal brow pencil and brow mascara, maybelline master prime, Revlon or rimmel foundation, rimmel bronzer, no sparkly anything where you are breaking out.

Also a setting spray. you should also use a oil free moisturizer all over your face, and avoid heavy chemical items.

Okay so first of if helps so much to know your skin type when trying to find foundations, before I started really getting into makeup, I thought all foundations were the same and I was so wrong! Also, before just trying to find a good foundation, you need to pay attention to your skin and have a good routine, that will help you not even have to use foundation are at least not have to use as much product.

I recommend CeraVe face wash (the Hydrating is my favorite; and since you have combo skin, I think it would work for you). Make sure you are ALWAYS (seriously everyday if you don't wear makeup that day) wash your face! Your skin will thank you in the future. After cleansing in both the morning and night, moisturize right after, I recommend CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion.

Now moving on to makeup, after cleansing and letting your moisturizer sink in (for at least 5 minutes; the longer you let sink in the better, it will help with your makeup application). After its sunk in you can use a primer (don't have to, but I always wear primer). I recommend Rimmels Fix and Perfect, I like the purple lid over the blue, but both work good. Nyx also makes good affordable primers. After primer apply foundation (I always use a brush) focusing on the areas needed (you don't have to apply foundation all over your face, just focusing on problem areas, unless you think your entire face needs it).

Since you mentioned dark eyes, a salmon correcting concealer does wonders! I would apply this after primer and before the foundation. Becca's pink correcting concealer is my absolute favorite. After applying the correcting concealer, apply a tiny bit of regular concealer on top, you don't wanna go around with crazy looking pink concealer! After the concealer do your foundation. Now for powder, I love L'Oreals True Match. Just sweep a tiny bit in the areas needed and you'll be good to go.

Now I know you say you only use drugstore but spending a little extra on highend is so worth it. Its makes a world of a difference. I own several drugstore products that are my holy grail, but for some products spending more is so much worth it; you also usually get more use out of products too instead of drugstore, because it usually last longer. Here is what I recommend to you:

Foundation: Makeup Forever Face and Body & Estee Lauder Double Wear (I think Makeup Forever will probably work better for you so I'd try that first). Get a sample! If you go to Sephora, and ask they will give you about three samples (of different products) if you just ask. That way you aren't wasting your money on something you won't like.

Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and Brow Powder Duo. Believe me, I have used just about every highend/drugstore brow product there is and ABH is the best. I used to go through a Maybelline Brow Pencil about every month, but with Anastasias Brow Wiz I only have to buy a new one about every four to five months; so I have actually saved money because I'm not shelling out $7 every month; I'm only spending $19ish (can't remember for sure) that is going to last me 5 months.

Becca Corrector: Not sure on the exact name but you can get it at Sephora and Ulta. Ulta usually has gift sets that I got this product in for $35ish and I love it. It also came with a lipgloss, liquid highlight, and their amazing pressed highlighters.

All in all, I love those products and spending a little extra is completely worth it in my opinion.

Now you don't have to use a setting powder but it will help, you just don't have to apply it everywhere if you are worried about it clinging to dry patches, but like I mentioned earlier, if you are taking care of your skin and moisturizing well, you shouldn't have an issue. As far as setting sprays, I personally don't like them, Nyx and Urban Decays are nice though, I just don't find them necessary. I only use them if I'm going somewhere nice, or prom, etc.

I mentioned L'Oreals powder but if you really want your makeup to last I recommend Laura Mercier or It Cosmetics (Ulta carries It).
