Pravana vivids red?

So I've decided to dye my hair, along with my clip in extensions red. I'll have to lighten my hair a bit, but I've ordered blonde extensions. Has anyone used the Pravana red? Is it an orangish red? Do you know if it's ok to mix it with other brands to achieve a more purple red color? Thanks in advance! *side note: my aunt ordered the red as she has her cosmetology license so it's the actual brand. 😊

Hey sweetheart, as a cosmetologist we rarely use Pravana. The reason being is that their colors are inconsistent n are never what you want from the bottle. I would get Redken Chromatics or any Redken color. just note that with chromatics you can only use the chromatics color, developer n clear. no mixing other color lines.

Lulz My stylist uses Pravana. Quality product with gorgeous colors. My own hair, both colors, are Pravana. Redken is also, indeed, a great color line.

I am going to be dying my hair with it as well, and from the reviews I've seen and the picture above (Bailee you're gorgeous!) You don't need to mix anything, it's a very vibrant red :)

It's settled then! 😊 I think I have a bit of wild orchid from this brand. I'll probably still mix a bit. 😊 but Bailee's hair convinced me!

Pravana works great, that's pretty much all we used at the salon I went to school at. I'd really just stick to their stuff and don't mix it with any from another brand
